Market One: HT Result — Predicting the 45-Minute State Only
The HT Result market is the simpler of the two half-time markets. You predict who is winning — or if the scores are level — at the end of the 45th minute. It works exactly like a standard 1X2 full-time bet but applies only to the first half:
- HT Home — the home team is leading at half time (e.g. 1-0, 2-0, 2-1 to the home side)
- HT Draw — the scores are level at half time (e.g. 0-0, 1-1, 2-2)
- HT Away — the away team is leading at half time (e.g. 0-1, 0-2, 1-2 to the away side)
The full-time result has absolutely no effect on an HT Result bet. A bet on HT Home settles the moment the referee blows for half time. If the home team leads 1-0 at the break, the bet wins — even if the away team equalises and wins 2-1 by full time.
Market Two: HT/FT Double — One Bet Covering Both Intervals
The HT/FT Double (Half Time / Full Time) is a single combined bet where you predict both the half-time result and the full-time result in one selection. It is always written as two words separated by a forward slash — the first word is the half-time result, the second is the full-time result.
Both parts must be correct for the bet to win. This is the most important rule. A Home/Home bet loses if the home team leads at half time but fails to win the full match. An Away/Away bet loses if the away team leads at half time but the game ends in a draw. Even if one part of your prediction is correct, the entire bet is lost if the other part fails.
How to Use HT Tips in Accumulators
HT Result tips — the straight 45-minute market — work well as accumulator legs. They behave like a standard 1X2 tip and carry similar probability levels. HT/FT Double tips should almost never be used as accumulator legs. Use HT/FT doubles as standalone high-odds singles where they represent value, not as acca building blocks.
